THE BOARD
The Board of Directors at Wyandot Senior Village, a nonprofit dedicated to providing low-income housing for the disabled and for seniors, plays a crucial role in steering the organization's mission and overseeing its operations. Comprised of experienced professionals and community leaders, the board sets strategic goals, establishes policies, and ensures the organization adheres to its mission of serving the senior community with dignity and care. They actively engage in financial management and program development to support the residents' needs, maintain the quality of housing, and foster a supportive environment. Additionally, the board members provide guidance, advocacy, and oversight to guarantee the effective management of resources, sustainability, and the fulfillment of Wyandot Senior Village's commitment to its residents and the community at large.
Chuck Ulrich, President
Board Member since 1999
Chuck has been on the board since 1999 and is currently the president. He is a lifetime resident of Upper Sandusky. He has worked in the community since he was 11 years old delivering newspapers then working in local grocery stores. Chuck worked 15 years in banking then became the owner of Richardson Flowers for nearly 20 years. During that time he was very active with his church and had sat on the board of zoning for Upper Sandusky for 30 years. Chuck says its an honor to be involved with WSV for so many years.
Mindy Ritter, RN MDS RAC-CTA, DNS, Infection Preventionist - Vice President
Board Member since 2019
Mindy is a Corporate Clinical RN with United Church Homes and joined the Board in 2019. With 22 years of experience in long term care and currently a part of the UCH corporate clinical management/leadership. She is an active educator/ presenter on quality metrics within long term care. Mindy grew up in Carey, Ohio to which she currently resides with her soon to be husband and step-daughter. She enjoys spending free time with her family and beloved dogs.
Marge Sink, Secretary
Member since 2016
Marge is an Upper Sandusky native and a retired Licensed Social Worker with 38+ years dedicated to geriatric care. “Serving on the Board of Directors allows me to continue this passion.” She is passionate about serving the community and enjoys reading, needlework, and cherished family time with 2 sons, 4 granddaughters, and expecting a great grandson.

Todd Leightey, Treasurer
Member since 2009
Todd is a Financial Advisor for Northwestern Mutual and operates an office in this great community of Upper Sandusky. When he’s not serving the needs of his clients or tending to the board, his wife and him keep busy by attending all of activities in which their son and daughter participate. When the four of them get time away they like to boat, travel and eat.
Brenda Zeigler
Board Member since 1999
Brenda Zeigler is a dedicated Board Member of Wyandot Senior Village, bringing a wealth of experience and commitment to her community. A lifelong resident of Wyandot County, Brenda has served on the board of trustees for over 25 years. With a professional background as a retired secretary and clerk at the auditor's office, she combines administrative expertise with a passion for community service. Outside her board commitments, Brenda remains active in her local church and various other community organizations, contributing her time and skills to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Tim is a graduate of Marion Technical College in Human & Social Services and Franklin University in a bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Tim found his passion in serving the elderly from a very young age when lived his grandparents and visited with elderly neighbors. He currently works for the Wyandot County Council on Aging and has previously worked for the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He has been married to his college “Sweet Tart,” Caitlynn, since May of 2021, and has one step-daughter, Sarah. In his free time he enjoys going on long walks, wood working, and gardening. He is a faithful attendee of the Nevada Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Pat Denney
Board Member since 2016
Pat has been on Board of Directors at Wyandot Senior Village for 7+ years and served as Vice President for 2 years. He’s been active in activities around WSV regarding landscaping and upkeep.
Pat served 4 years in the Air Force loading cargo on aircraft and assisting passenger service personnel. He served on the Fantasy of Lights Board for several years. Pat resides in Upper Sandusky with his wife Marty and dog Angel. He has a daughter Danette, a son Raymond and 2 stepsons Jeremy and Jason Wolford. He has been a long time member of First Lutheran Church serving on Church Council and many committees.
